Grizzly BearI Grizzly Bear dopo 5 anni tornano con un nuovo album “Painted Ruins”, in uscita il 18 agosto 2017.

Intanto la band di Brooklyn pubblica oggi un nuovo brano, “Mourning Sound”, contenuto in “Painted Ruins”.

I Grizzly BearChris Bear, Ed Droste, Daniel Rossen e Chris Taylor – hanno passato la maggior parte degli ultimi due anni a scrivere e registrare gli 11 nuovi pezzi di “Painted Ruins”.
Taylor ha curato la produzione agli Allaire Studios, a nord di New York, e in varie location a Los Angeles, compresi i suoi Terrible Studios. Tutti i Grizzly Bear vivono a Los Angeles a parte Rossen che vive a Santa Fe.

Painted Ruins” segue “Shields” del 2012 che è stato un grande successo di pubblico e critica: ha debuttato al #7 della Billboard 200 ed è stato nominato album dell’anno da iTunes. Grazie a “Shields” la band si è guadagnata il titolo Pitchfork Best New Music nonché 4 stelle nella recensione di Rolling Stone USA. I Grizzly Bear si sono esibiti da Colbert, Fallon, Letterman, Austin City Limits e Ellen e hanno suonato al Radio City Music Hall a New York e al Greek Theatre a Los Angeles, entrambi sold out.
